How fast can a policy become a training?
Upload a PDF or Word file and LectureGuru drafts a narrated training with a quiz, usually in under 10 minutes. Your team can edit the script and the questions before anyone is assigned.
Is LectureGuru an LMS?
Yes, for compliance and onboarding training. It assigns courses with due dates, sends reminders, renews certifications and keeps per-version records and certificates. Unlike a classic LMS, it also writes the courses from your documents and flags them when a source changes. If you already run an LMS, you can publish to it as a SCORM package instead.
Who gets reminder emails, and when?
Only people assigned a training with emails switched on. They get one email when it’s assigned, then reminders 7 days and 1 day before the due date. If it’s late, a reminder goes out once a week, three times at most. People who have finished, or who are waiting for an open answer to be graded, get nothing. Anyone can turn reminders off in their account; the email announcing a new training still arrives.
How does recertification work?
Set how many months a pass stays valid, for example 12. Thirty days before someone’s pass expires, they get a renewal email, and their portal shows the date to renew by.
What happens when a policy changes?
LectureGuru flags trainings whose source documents or pages have changed. When your team approves the updated version, it can require everyone assigned to take it again by a date it chooses. Earlier certificates stay on record and can still be verified as proof of the earlier cycle.
Can an auditor check a certificate?
Yes. Every certificate carries its own link, which opens the live record: name, training, result, version and completion date. An edited PDF won’t match the record.
Can we sign in with Microsoft Entra ID?
Yes, on a dedicated instance, for admins, members and learners. Your IT team assigns access and roles in Entra ID, accounts are created at first sign-in, and Entra can be made the only way in. Take someone’s role away in Entra and they can’t sign in again; remove them in LectureGuru and their open sessions end too.
Does SCORM export work with our LMS?
LectureGuru exports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 packages, tested with Moodle. The package loads the live training, so edits reach your LMS without a new upload. SCORM export is switched on per organisation; just ask us.
Which languages are supported?
Trainings can be narrated in more than 30 languages from the same document. Reminder emails go out in English, Slovak, Czech or Turkish, matching each person’s language setting.
